Chace Ambrose

Chace Ambrose can be seen as a reporter on WGXA News at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on FOX24, and at 6, 7 and 11 p.m. on ABC16.

Chace joined the WGXA News team in 2002 and has worked as a reporter, sports reporter and anchor of the Fox File segments.

Born in Macon, Chace grew up in Roberta before returning to Macon at age 15 and graduating from Central High School.

He attended film courses at Macon State College and New York University, including one taught by Spike Lee. He later worked as a writer for Troma Entertainment, America's oldest independent film studio.

In 2005 Chace started the Georgia Ghostbusters, a fan organization that participates in charity and community events throughout the state. His Ghostbusters ambulance can frequently be seen parked in the WGXA lot while Chace is out working a story.

Chace enjoys attending film and sci-fi conventions, and has appeared as an actor in several independent films.
