FORSYTH, Ga. (AP) - Monroe County sheriff's officials say a man has died after being partially ejected from a truck when it overturned. Sheriff's spokeswoman Allison Selman-Willis says 56-year-old Michael Wayne Lindler was nearly thrown from the passenger side window of a truck being driven by 46-year-old Jonathan Elijah Watson early Tuesday morning. Authorities say Watson was driving on Highway 42 and left the roadway. Selman-Willis says Watson overcorrected and the truck flipped over. Lindler was pronounced dead on the scene and Watson was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Selman-Willis says neither man was wearing a seatbelt. Watson is being charged with DUI, vehicular homicide and seatbelt violations. Selman-Willis says Watson is still in the hospital and it's unclear if he has an attorney.
