2 Men Sought in Theft of Charity Donation Box

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects and locating a vehicle involved in the theft of a box for charity donations.

The box, used for donations to the Children's Miracle Network, was located inside the WalMart at 6020 Harrison Road. It was stolen just before 2 am on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The investigative report states that  a witness saw two men wearing black ski masks walk into the store, pick up the box and walk out.

The men were seen leaving the parking lot area in a tan or gold colored Ford Taurus with the license plate obscured by a piece of cloth.

One of the men is approximately 5-feet-7 with a dark complexion. He was wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a blue or black jacket.

The second man is approximately 6-feet-2 with a light complexion. He was wearing blue pants, a blue long sleeve shirt and blue tennis shoes.
