4 Arrested, 17 Cited in Illegal Liquor House Bust

Four people were arrested and an additional 17 people were issued citations after Macon Police broke up a gathering Friday at what it calls an illegal liquor house.

Police say an undercover officer bought marijuana from a man at 1089 Duncan Avenue, when officers entered the home to arrest the man, they found 20 people inside. Police say they also found 7 bags of pot, 2 small baggies of cocaine, and a discarded pistol.

Twenty-five-year-old Gregory Thomas was charged with selling marijuana, it's his eight arrest in Bibb County.

Eighteen-year-old Reshad Riddick, 30-year-old Shanika Smith, and 30-year-old Moses Jordan were all arrested on outstanding warrants.

An additional 17 people were cited for begin present where illegal drugs are used, kept, or sold.
