The Amber Alert issued out of Duluth for two children allegedly taken by their father has been canceled after the children were found safe at their Grandmother's house in Greenville, SC.

The Duluth Police Department asked that you be on the lookout for 10-year-old Zailan J. Blue and 14-year-old Jaquez Z. Blue. The GBI says the children were taken around 10:30 a.m. Thursday by 55-year-old John Daniel Blue, the children's father.

WGXA affiliate WSB-TV is reporting that DFCS arrived at the home with a court order to take the children. John put his children into his van and rammed the DFCS car to get away. Just after 11 p.m. WSB-TV reported that John had taken the children to Greenville, SC and left them with their grandmother before returning to Norcross to turn himself in.
