Heart of Georgia Hospice wants to help kids who are dealing with the recent loss of a loved one.
The group is accepting applications for their upcoming Camp Wings set for november 1st through 3rd. It's designed to help those ages 6 to 16 deal with grief associated with the death of a family or friend.
The camp is in it's 13th year. It's free, and only 10 dollars to register. Executive Director Tim Poole explains, "For kids who have lost a loved one, it's a great bereavement camp that helps them just to be able to cope and deal effectively with losing that special someone."
Camp Wings has a trained staff to help kids dealing with their feelings. It opens the first weekend in November at Camp John Hope in Fort Valley.
