HYDERABAD, India (AP) — Officials in southern India say many of the 42 people killed when a bus crashed into a roadside barrier early this morning were burned alive. Only the bus driver and six passengers managed to escape through a window, but many of those inside had been asleep. Officials say the crash happened after the driver tried to pass another vehicle.
GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (AP) — Police in Greenwood County, S.C. are still trying to determine how six people were killed in a home, but they say the deaths are related to "a domestic-related incident." SWAT teams went into the home and found the bodies of four adults and two children. Authorities believe one of the victims had called 911 saying he was thinking about hurting himself.
