ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta airport officials are urging air travelers to budget extra time because of road work.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport officials released a statement saying that an inbound roadway improvement project at the airport could snarl traffic more than usual.
Airport officials recommended that travelers budget an extra 20 minutes during peak times — Monday mornings, Thursday and Friday afternoons and evenings and Sunday nights.
They also recommend that people use I-85 or I-285 to get to the airport during construction because the Camp Creek Parkway entrance may be jammed.
