Baylor keeps winning postseason games

WACO, Texas (AP) — Cory Jefferson figures there's a very low percentage of people who really know just how good Baylor has been in postseason play.

The senior forward hadn't even put into perspective what the Bears have done until asked this week about their 17-3 postseason record over the past six seasons.

Baylor (26-11) started 2-8 in Big 12 play. Now the Bears make their third NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in five years, against No. 2 seed Wisconsin (28-7) on Thursday in Anaheim, Calif.

The Bears' .850 winning percentage in postseason games since 2009 is better than any other Division I team with multiple NCAA appearances in that six-season span.

Along with those three NCAA tourneys, Baylor won the NIT title last season and went to another championship game at Madison Square Garden in 2009.
