A Bibb County Sheriff's Deputy learned what it's like on the other side of the bars after being arrested Friday.
WGXA first broke this story Friday on WGXA News at 10 p.m. A tip to our newsroom led us to learn that 35-year-old Curtis Ryan Willis had been arrested on charges of stalking, identity theft fraud and harassing phone calls.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, Willis used the identity of a female friend, without permission, to talk with an ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend. Willis allegedly sent unwanted text messages to the ex-girlfriend under that female friend's identity. He also used the same alias in an attempt to communicate with the new boyfriend, in an explicit nature, in an attempt to disrupt their relationship.
Willis has been suspended from duty pending an internal investigation.
