Update: Deputy Facing Child Molestation Charges is Fired

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested and charged with Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes is fired from his job by Sheriff David Davis.

In a release from the sheriff's office, investigators said Kenneth Lee Brown, 49, is suspected of approaching a 14-year-old girl on Old Clinton Road for sexual contact in the early morning hours Tuesday.

Brown is also suspected of touching the teen inappropriately after she told him to stop and pointing a gun at a 19-year-old man and the teen.
Brown has been charged with 1 felony count of Enticing a Child For Indecent Purposes, 1 felony count of Child Molestation, 2 felony counts of Aggravated Assault, 1 felony count of Possession of a Firearm During The Commission of a Felony and 1 felony count of Violation of Oath of Office.  

No bond has been set at this time.
