Bicyclist in Serious Condition after Hit-and-run

A bicyclist is in critical condition and a driver is being sought following a hit-and-run accident Tuesday morning in Crawford County.

At 7:20 a.m., Crawford County deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to a hit and run accident on Sandy Point Road near Creekview Drive involving a person riding a bike being hit by an unknown vehicle.

The bike rider, whose name was withheld by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office pending notification of his family, was taken by ambulance to the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He is in serious condition.
