Bond is denied for a man accused in an excution style double murder in Houston County.

Houston DA George Hartwig tells WGXA that Justice Bernard Evans will stay in the Houston LEC after Judge Katherine Lumsden denied his bond request.

Evans is a suspect in the August 18th double murder at a Chadwick Drive home where Shaland McConnell and Ruben Miranda were shot and killed.

Their bodies were dumped in a nearby field.

Investigators believe the killings may have been drug related.

Evans faces charges of murder, tampering with evidence and concealing a death.
