A Crawford County school employee is in trouble with the law after child molestation accusations surface.
Sheriff Lewis Walker tells WGXA, 28-year old Carlteze James Saffold of Roberta is in custody charged with four counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children, four counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes and four counts of Child Molestation.
Walker says Saffold was arrested after investigators met with Crawford County High School officials on Wednesday. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Crawford County Sheriff's Office in the investigation.
Crawford Schools Superintendent John Douglas tells WGXA, Saffold is a para-professional at the middle school. Douglas says the alleged incidents did not happen on school property.
Lewis says Superior Court Judge Phillip Brown set bond was set at $100,000 for Saffold.
