A Crawford County brother and sister are out of jail on bond facing child cruelty charges.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year old Mark William Fogleman and 22-year old Sarah Fogleman of Musella are charged with Cruelty to Children by Negligence in the Second Degree.  The brother and sister were taken into custody in late November after deputies were dispatched to the Clay Road home regarding a dog bite case.

Sheriff Lewis Walker says when deputies arrived, an adult male was holding a fully undressed three year old child at the end of the driveway.  Walker says the child had visible injuries and was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia by ambulance for treatment.  The toddler has been released from the hospital and is in the care of the Department of Family and Children Services.

Both brother and sister have been released on a 25,000.00 bond.  The case remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
