SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — Little-known New Jersey politician Barbara Buono (bwoh-NOH') faces long odds heading into the final week of her campaign to unseat popular Gov. Chris Christie. Even fellow Democrats have set the bar low. They say she will have run a credible race if she doesn't get thrashed. Public polls have consistently shown Christie dominating by 20-plus points. Buono, a 60-year-old state senator, knows she's given little chance of winning against a nationally recognized governor who's considered a possible presidential candidate in 2016. She says she's been underestimated before. She was asked Monday how her campaign is going with eight days until the election. Buono says, "We're on a mission, we're moving forward."
