Bibb County Deputies caught a panhandling suspect who apparently isn't afraid to run or even swim. Deputies say they arrested 32-year-old Joseph Poke after a foot chase through some Zebulon Road businesses. They responded to panhandling calls when they found Poke and a woman allegedly asking people for money. Poke took off, running through parking lots, over a fence and into a retention pond. That's where an off-duty deputy and responding officer grabbed the suspect. Poke is charged with probation violation, panhandling, providing false information and obstructing an officer.
