Dodge Co. Fire Displaces Family

It took 3 fire departments to battle a house fire yesterday on Sanders Cemetery Road in McRae.

Firefighters from Chauncey, Milan and Telfair State Prison responding to this mobile home on Sanders Cemetery Road.

The living room and an adjacent bedroom were damaged.

Adrian Thomas, her two children, mother, sister, and her sister's daughter all lived in the home.

No one was injured. Officials believe the fire started from a fan or air purifier.

The Central Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross has provided funds for emergency shelter, food, and groceries for the family.
