Consolidated Mayoral Candidate C. Jack Ellis is talking about growing even more jobs for bibb county.

Today in advance of the October 15th run-off vote against current Macon Mayor Robert Reichert, Ellis, Reichert's predecessor as Macon's mayor held a news conference late this morning at the old Hamilton School.

Ellis is pushing local self-sufficiency with ideas like urban farming and the possible windfall of jobs created.

Ellis placed a distant second to Reichert in the September 17th consolidated election.

4 other commissioner posts are in play for the October 15th run-off vote.
