A new report from the Environmental Protection Agency suggests anti-pollution efforts are working.
In the EPA's latest greenhouse gas data report, it shows a ten percent decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.
That's attributed to more utilities switching to use cleaner natural gas for power generation.
In all, georgia has 14-fossil fuel power plants, with three in the midstate area.
Plant Scherer in Juliette, recently named one of the largest polluters in the country, the Plant Branch in Milledgeville which is being phased out, and the Robins Steam Plant in Warner Robins.
