With deer season in full swing, the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank is looking to have hunters help out by donating their venison.
The program is called Hunters for the Hungry.
Walmart has donated 35 thousand dollars to have any deer donated processed into hamburger meat.
Ronald Raliegh says you don't even have to donate the whole animal.
"So if the hunters out their you know a lot of times they will shoot an extra doe and donate the doe for the package." -- Ronald Raleigh, Middle Georgia Community Food Bank
