The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity celebrated its centennial celebration today.

On this day members of Phi Beta Sigma worldwide join together in celebration of the service that the fraternity has provided to communities for the past 100 years.

As a part of Phi Beta Sigma's celebration, our International President Jonathan Mason, Senior was interviewed on The Today Show by Phi Beta Sigma member Al Roker.

Lamont Thomas with Phi Beta Sigma says for their celebration they're giving back to the community.

"We came out today, to assist with the community. We wanted to come out and play games and in celebrating our centennial anniversary we give back we do service projects, so in turn we're here to serve the community." -- Lamont Thomas, Phi Beta Sigma Member

Saint Jude's Hospital, The American Cancer Society, and The March of Dimes are only a few of the thousands of organizations Phi Beta Sigma has been able to assist under the umbrella of their motto, "culture for service and service for humanity."
