Grain futures lower on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery was 8.25 lower at 6.4475 a bushel; December corn was 4.50 cents lower $4.6175 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.1825 a bushel; while November soybeans were 7.50 cents lower at 13.8850 a bushel. Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was .38 cent higher at $1.2520 a pound; October feeder cattle was .40 cent higher at $1.5900 a pound; October lean hogs were .75 higher at $.9095 a pound.
