Grain futures lower on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery was unchanged at 6.57 a bushel; December corn was 7.75 cents lower at $4.5175 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.12 a bushel; while November soybeans were 25.25 cents lower at 13.1425 a bushel. Beef and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was .02 cent lower at $1.2590 a pound; October feeder cattle was .18 cent higher at $1.5955 a pound; October lean hogs were 1.28 lower at $.8987 a pound.
