Grain futures mostly higher on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery was 5 cents higher at 6.91 a bushel; December corn was .25 cents lower at $4.3875 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.1375 a bushel; while November soybeans were 10.75 cents higher at 12.8450 a bushel. Beef prices lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was .13 cent lower at $1.2717 a pound; November feeder cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.6570 a pound; December lean hogs were .68 cent higher at $.8685 a pound.
