Grain futures mostly lower on the CBOT

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for December delivery was unchanged at 6.5425 a bushel; December corn was 2 cents lower at $4.7950 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.4750 a bushel; while November soybeans were 11.50 cents lower at 13.57 a bushel. Beef and pork prices were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle was .02 cent lower at $1.2695 a pound; October feeder cattle was .70 cent higher at $1.5870 a pound; October lean hogs were .07 lower at $.8725 a pound.
