Grain higher, cattle higher and pork lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board f Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was 9.75 cents higher at 7.03 a bushel; May corn was 6.25 cents higher at 4.8525 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at 4.150 a bushel; while May soybeans was 2.25 cents higher at 14.11 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .18 cent higher at $1.3630 a pound; May feeder cattle was .50 cents higher at 1.77 a pound; June lean hogs loss 1.67 cent to $1.2865 a pound.
