Grain lower, cattle lower and pork higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was unchanged at 6.83 3/4 a bushel; May corn was 1.75 cents lower at 4.8775 a bushel; May oats were unchanged at 4.4450 a bushel; while May soybeans was 4 cents higher at 13.91 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle was .72 cent lower at $1.4315 a pound; May feeder cattle was .57 cents lower at 1.7620 a pound; April lean hogs gained .93 cent to $1.1685 a pound.
