Grain mostly lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 12 cents to $6.69 a bushel; May corn was 4.75 cents lower at 5.0225 a bushel; May oats fell 11 cents to $4.24 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 12.75 cents to $14.9525 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose .35 cent to $1.3562 a pound; May feeder cattle was 1.35 cents higher at $1.8022 a pound; while Junelean hogs rose 3 cents to $1.2175 a pound.
