Jurors deliberated about two hours yesterday before finding De'Marquise (deh-mahr-KEES') Elkins guilty of the March 21 killing of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago in Brunswick. NEWNAN, Ga. (AP) — A group of Georgia Democrats will gather today in Newnan to select their next party leader. The candidates include former House Minority Leader Dubose Porter of Dublin, former state Sen. Doug Stoner of Cobb County and Rockdale County Tax Commissioner RJ Hadley. ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta police say a father faces a felony murder charge after his 18-month-old boy was shot with a BB gun and later died of his injuries. Officer Kim Y. Jones says the boy's father, 23-year-old Jesse L. Sellers, was arrested yesterday. Police say the boy was taken to Grady Hospital and later died.
