BRUNSWICK, Ga. (AP) — A south Georgia bank director accused of losing millions of investor dollars before vanishing faces a court appearance today. The U.S. attorney's office in Savannah says 47-year-old Aubrey Lee Price is due to appear before a federal judge in Brunswick. Price was arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop.

POOLER, Ga. (AP) — A reward is offered for information leading to the suspect in a series of arsons at a hotel in Pooler. State Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens says up to $10,000 may be available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who set four fires at a Ramada Inn.

MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — Cobb County police say the driver of a sports car and his passenger died in a crash yesterday after the car sped away from an officer during a traffic stop. The driver, 28-year-old Marquis Parker, and passenger, 31-year-old Fernando Edwards, both of Marietta, died at the scene.

MACON, Ga. (AP) — A Mercer University biomedical engineering professor is working with students and faculty to provide amputees in Vietnam with free prosthetic legs developed in their campus lab. The group led by Dr. Ha Van Vo traveled from Macon to Vietnam in mid-December.
