ATLANTA (AP) — Georgians have till Monday to register if they want to vote in the May 20 primary. Those with a valid state driver's license may access online registration through the "My Voter Page" on the Secretary of State's website. Android and Apple mobile users can now access the "GA Voter" application.

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Police in Atlanta's northwestern suburbs are investigating the killing of a security guard found with a gunshot wound near a Kennesaw shopping center. Cobb County police say officers found the guard, 23-year-old Zakeem Berry of Kennesaw, in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he died.

ATLANTA (AP) — Police say they've recovered a car belonging to the clerk of the Georgia House of Representatives after it was stolen outside the Georgia Capitol. Bill Reilly's 1993 Chevy Suburban was found Wednesday evening on Windsor Street in Atlanta. The driver's side window was broken and the ignition had been hot-wired.

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Gainesville police and state natural resources officers are investigating the drowning death of a Gainesville man in Lake Lanier. Gainesville police Cpl. Kevin Holbrook said emergency crews were called to the docks at the Chattahoochee Country Club shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday.
