DECATUR, Ga. (AP) — DeKalb County authorities say a man suspected of killing his parents with a samurai sword has been arrested. Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says the bodies of a 73-year-old woman and her 75-year-old husband were found by a relative who visited their house yesterday. The couple's 39-year-old son was found at a nearby park less than two hours later.

ATLANTA (AP) — A court document says a can containing 55 12-gauge shotgun shells was found in the car driven by a man who shot six co-workers at a FedEx facility near Atlanta. Authorities say Kramer arrived at the FedEx facility in Kennesaw early Tuesday morning and shot six co-workers before fatally shooting himself.

FAIRBURN, Ga. (AP) — Police in suburban Atlanta say a 1-year-old child was airlifted to a local hospital after falling from a second-story window. Fulton County Police Lt. Scott McBride tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the child was at home in Fairburn at the time of the accident..

ATLANTA (AP) — The U.S. Department of Education says it's reviewing the way Emory University responds to complaints of sexual violence and harassment. The Department's Office for Civil Rights yesterday named Emory as one of 55 colleges nationwide being probed for Title IX compliance and enforcement.
