MACON, Ga. (AP) — Anthony White Jr. scored a career-high 29 points and Mercer topped Jacksonville 85-64 Tuesday in a quarterfinal matchup of the Atlantic Sun tournament. Bud Thomas hit 3-pointers on three consecutive possessions to give Mercer a 16-8 advantage and the Bears never let the lead slip to fewer than five points the rest of the way.
