FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — A Fayette County mansion once owned by former heavyweight boxing champ Evander Holyfield is set for auction next month. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/1bGGJbi ) a listing agent says bidding will start at $2.5 million for the auction set to begin Nov. 11. The newspaper says J.P. Morgan Chase first listed the 109-room home in April for $8.5 million but the price dropped to about $7.9 million at the end of August. Holyfield vacated the property in July 2012 due to foreclosure after years of financial troubles. The home has 12 bedrooms, 21 full and half bathrooms and sits on more than 100 acres. It also has three kitchens, a two-lane bowling alley, a 135-seat theater and an Olympic-size pool. ___ Information from: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, http://www.ajc.com
