The Houston School Board took time to honor school nutrition workers Tuesday.

Out of the 115 inspections countywide, 113 earned a perfect store for cleanliness and food safety.

Christine Sampson won the Georgia School Nutrition Association's Heart of the Program Award.

Sampson told WGXA she drives meals to children who otherwise would not have enough to eat during summer months, because it warms her heart and she knows how much they appreciate the food.
April Bohannon was awarded the Naomi Tolbert Central Office Support Award.

Westside Elementary School has 10 years of perfect health scores.

Schools with 11 years in a row of 100 percent on their inspections include: Dave Perdue, Miller, Morningside, and Tucker Elementary Schools.
