A tractor trailer driver loses his brakes and crashes his truck into a train in Houston County.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on the Ga. Highway 247 spur at Sandbed Road late Wednesday morning.  The driver of the truck told a trooper the brakes went out on his truck, and he was forced to drive around cars waiting at the crossing, and alongside the train tracks.  The GSP says the driver ended up hitting a rail car near the end of the train.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident.  Crews are working to stabilize the area due to a natural gas line at the location of the accident.
