Investigators released new information today in Friday's officer-involved shooting near Warner Robins. According to the Perry GBI office, a deputy shot 27 year old Daniel Boghosian twice as he attempted to ram two patrol cars. It happened after a high speed chase that ended on Moody Road after about 20 minutes. Investigators closed the road for hours as the GBI searched for clues and evidence. The deputy who pulled the trigger is 50 year old Dean Holtzhouser. He's on Administrative leave which is standard following an officer involved shooting. It's also normal to call in the GBI in such cases. Once the final investigative report is complete, the GBI will turn it over to the District Attorney who will rule whether the deputy's actions followed procedures.
