Local churches from Macon and Warner Robins come together to pray in effort to unite community and lower the crime.

Twelve congregations kick off the first revivolution at Coleman Hill Park.

Organizer, Ral Waltower says the change starts with the younger generations and he's hoping the community can make a difference.

"The youth is very critical, if we don't grab this next generation, there will be no hope for any of us," Waltower said.

Waltower says with over 339 churches between Macon and Warner Robins he is working to have a joint movement with all of the congregations.

"Far too long Macon has been the stepchild and the stepsister, the one that is lost and forgotten but God is saying this is Macon season, this is Macon's dispensation," Waltower said.

The congregations are working to have another prayer in the park next month at 6 p.m.
