Macon-Bibb County Polls Open To Voters

Polls are open and Macon and Bibb County voters are casting their ballots in the first nonpartisan consolidated election.
Macon-Bibb County elections volunteers spent Monday setting up polling equipment at area precincts.  Election Superintendent Jeanetta Watson is reminding people who plan to vote to not to forget their identification.  Watson says voters who do not have identification can bring a birth certificate or utility bill and a temporary voter identification card will be issued.
Voters are casting their ballot for the new Macon-Bibb County Mayor and nine commissioners.
Polls close at 7:00 p.m.
