Macon-Bibb County firefighters spent Friday morning extinguishing a blaze at the Burger King restaurant on Pio Nono Avenue.
Firefighters tells WGXA, the blaze began when a vehicle caught on fire in the drive through of the fast food eatery just after 9:00 a.m.
Restaurant owner Bruce Walker tells WGXA, employees tried to put out the fire with an extinguisher, but it spread to the roof of the drive through and into the interior of the building.
Walker says no one was injured in the blaze and the restaurant will reopen after repairs are complete.
