Macon Murder Suspect In Custody

A Macon man accused of shooting and killing his wife is behind bars at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Sheriff David Davis tells WGXA, Jasento Lachun Flowers Sr. turned himself into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center Tuesday morning at 2:00 a.m.  Flowers is charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Parole Violation.

Flowers is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Bridgette, in late February while she was driving a minivan in east Macon.  She died at the scene, two others were injured in the shooting.  He is also accused of punching his wife at the Walmart on Gray Highway on Valentine’s Day.

Flowers’ son, Jasento Lachun Flowers Jr. was arrested after the murder and charged with Tampering with Evidence and Probation Violation.
