Yesterday students at Vineville Academy got up close and personal with a real cow.
Georgia dairy farmers have been moonlighting at several schools this week and bringing with them their mobile dairy classroom. The dairy classroom is meant to teach students about the industry and the health benefits of dairy products. It features a fully operational milking parlor which includes a live cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations.
The mobile classroom helps children actually understand that chocolate milk comes from normal cow’s milk mixed with chocolate and not a chocolate cow.
