Parents of elementary school students in Monroe County will soon learn which schools their kids will go to after a possible rezoning.
Thursday night was the last public hearing on plans to rezone the school system's three elementary schools.
The school board heard from around five parents at the meeting, but Superintendent Anthony Pack says hundreds of comments were submitted online.
The rezoning is supposed to equalize the enrollment at TG Scott, Hubbard, and KB Sutton Elementary Schools while making the schools more diverse.
The board is scheduled to make a final decision on the rezoning plans next Tuesday.
