NEW YORK (AP) — The mayor of New York City sang "I Love L.A." on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to settle a Stanley Cup bet.

Mayor Bill de Blasio (dih-BLAH'-zee-oh) also treated a studio audience in Los Angeles to New York City hot dogs on Monday night.

He made the hockey bet with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (gahr-SEHT'-ee).

De Blasio, wearing a black T-shirt that said "I love LA," appeared via satellite from the ABC studios in Times Square. He was joined in the rendition by members of New York City's 52nd Street Project student chorus.

Garcetti was alongside the late-night host in his Los Angeles studio.

The LA Kings won the title on Friday night on home ice with a 3-2 victory over the New York Rangers.
