Peach county high school is hoping to come off the Georgia priority list for Georgia schools.
The priority list is made up of the lowest performing schools in the state.
Peach County went on the list back in 2012 and received a grant to help them improve.
Now that the grant has phased out, Board of Education Chair Jamie Johnson says he hopes the school will not have to re-apply for a new grant.
Johnson says Peach County High School has made strides in english, social studies and science.
He credits the school's staff for helping students improve their scores.
