A Perry teenager is under arrest after allegedly robbing a Perry store Saturday afternoon.
Perry Police responded to the Choice Food Mart on Macon Road just after 5 p.m. Saturday in reference to an armed robbery. They arrested 18-year-old Jake David Snell after he ran from the scene.
Perry Police say Snell entered the store and brandished a handgun and demanded money from the cashier before running away with cash.
Police were patrolling the area looking for Snell and found him in the area of Marsha Circle and Parkway Avenue. Snell ran away from an officer before being caught.
Snell has been charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and fleeing in an attempt to elude. Snell is being held in the Houston County Detention Center.
