With the government stalemate over, Robins Air Force Base employees returned to work today.
A statement released by the base says operations at Robins resumed. That also includes opening the Museum of Avaiation.
During the 16 day government stalemate the base furloughed more than 4,000 people. Those who were considered "essential" continued to work, but some were accidentally docked hours on their October 15th paycheck.
Now that there's an agreement in Washington, many say they're glad to be back at Robins but have concerns about the federal government.
"You know I wish they would stop kicking it down the road and come up with a permanent solution you know but I mean I'm glad to have something you know in the interim while they're trying to get it fixed." -- Ronnie Hill, Robins Employee
All employees furloughed will receive back pay and those missing hours on their last paychek are expected to receive it later this month.
