At tonight's Washington County football game, the Sandersville community paid tribute to Cles Kent.

Kent was recently killed in a tragic accident but his loss has not gone unnoticed.

Family members sat in his favorite section of the Washington County Stadium and Kent's children were honorary team captains for the game.

Kent was a coach, a youth pastor, and an avid football fan.

"He was a great dad and he was a great husband. He coached football and baseball and basketball with the recreation department and he was such a wonderful coach. He taught the boys to pray after the games and to give God all the glory for the things in their lives." -Leanne Kent/Cles' Wife

Kent's memory was also honored by a brief moment of silence before the start of the game.
