Another update in the murder at a Warner Robins Econo Lodge.

Thursday we told you 23 year old Matthew Gardner of Warner Robins was found shot to death there. Friday police believe his shooter was 32 year old Kenneth Sharpe of Biloxi, Mississippi.

Around 2 o'clock this morning police in Oxford Alabama received a phone call from the Waffle House saying they had a possible gunshot victim in their parking lot. Oxford Police arrived and found Kenneth Sharpe with a single gunshot to the abdomen.

Sharpe was taken to a hospital where he died.

Emily Hooker was traveling with Sharpe. She is from Jefferson, Georgia. Hooker told police Sharpe was shot in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Hooker is being held by the Oxford Police Department charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of a pistol without a permit. Bond is set at $50,000 for the drugs charge and $3,000 on the pistol charge.

Investigators now believe Sharpe and Gardner got into an argument that ended in gunfire with both men hitting each other.

Warner Robins Assistant Chief John Wagner tells WGXA, the case remains under investigation by the Warner Robins Police Department, Oxford Police Department and the Peach County Coroner's Office.
